In the beginning of August youngs of Brown Shrike, Thick-billed Reed Warbler and Richard's Pipit started to get into our nets and Brown Shrikes had been biting us for the whole Month.

Phylloscopus species appeared since the middle of the Month, juveniles of Pallas's Grasshopper and Lanceolated Warblers - since 18th of August. In total - 798 birds of 48 species were ringed at the station.

Great event occurred on the 29th of August - we opened new ringing point in Tankhoy - 34km from the ringing station to the South-West. It was possible only thanks to our experienced volunteers - Marc Bastardot from Switzerland and Anastasiya Kuzmenkova with Dmitry Shamovich from Belarus. Marc suggested to use tape with bird's song at night, we agreed and as a result 43 Siberian Rubbythroats were ringed on the next morning - 30th of August. It was a half from the number of these birds, ringed last year. and as September showed it was just the beginning.
